BAT        PAPUA NEW GUINEA IS LOOKING FOR A TRADE ACTIVATION COORDINATOR
To support the execution of Trade Activation programs through successful implementation of Brand strategies & consumer engagement activities aligned to Marketing, Brand Portfolio & Consumer Space strategies. The incumbent is responsible to ensure all activation materials are properly track and monitor for proper use in the market 

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports To: Trade Investment & Regional Trade Marketing Deployment Manager 
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: APMEA
Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

 WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Trade Activation Coordination: 

  • Coordination of Brand Activation Programs to deliver volume, share and profit targets across all targeted areas 
  • Ensure development & allocation of all Activation materials are delivered to respective areas of PNG for implementation on time, on quality, on budget 
  • Ensure Activation Programs excite the Trade through innovative activation programs & world-class consumer engagement 
  • Coordination of brand plans ensuring right fit with PNG’s portfolio strategy  
  • Support the execution of G2M (Go To Market) plans for each Brand initiative to deliver against ROI & objectives as per Brand Strategy. 

Activation & Merchandising Management: 

  • Manage the levels of all Marketing Materials from Merchandising equipment, MDUs (marketing and development unit), Priceboards, and Stationary 
  • Co-ordination and organisation of the Teams and overseas visitors’ itineraries and travel, ensuring most cost-effective fare/route is undertaken 
  • Manage the Procure to Pay process for Trade Activation projects ensuring attention to detail, paid in full & on-time & budget tracked 
  • Take personal responsibility for own growth and development through the utilisation of BAT development solutions and the Develop / Perform process   
  • Proactively seek performance appraisals with own line manager in a timely manner and implement the mutually agreed outcomes (as applicable)   
  • Seek informal feedback on a regular basis & actively provide feedback online manager's performance 
  • Role model the Guiding Principles (Open mindedness, Strength from diversity, Freedom through responsibility & Enterprising spirit) 
  • Drive and contribute to a high-performance culture within the Marketing Team 
  • Monitor workload and ensure high quality and realistic timely output is achieved   

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Graduates with a min of High School Certification (Graduate with a Bachelor Degree is an advantage) 
  • Equipped with at least 2 years as an Admin Assistant/Personal Assistant OR relevant background
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, highly numerical, fully confident in using data to inform decisions 
  • Proven ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects/ activities at the same time, able to multi-task 
  • Strong time manager, acute attention to detail & follows all activities through to completion 
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office across Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
