JOB TITLE: Distribution Systems Manager – Marketing

LOCATION: Sri Lanka

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

In this role, your primary goal is to lead the team towards data-driven decision-making, ensuring that insights derived from analytics drive strategic choices. You will champion the integration of technology solutions to optimize operational efficiency, collaborating closely with the IDT team. Additionally, your role entails promoting analytical problem-solving methodologies to address complex challenges effectively.

As a leader, you will navigate the team through technological changes, fostering a culture of adaptability and proactive learning. You will also focus on cultivating a deep understanding of data analytics among team members, inspiring them to leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

Overall, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the team's capabilities in data analytics and technology integration, enabling informed decision-making and driving business success.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Leading the team in adopting a data-driven approach to decision-making, emphasizing the importance of leveraging analytics.
  • Spearheading initiatives for continuous improvement in Management System, Retail Management System, Retail E-wallet system to enhance user engagement and utilization.
  • Ensuring that all decisions are backed by insights derived from data analysis.
  • Identifying and evaluating technology solutions that can enhance operational efficiency, with support from the IDT team.
  • Implementing robust data management systems to streamline analytics, reporting, and automation processes.
  • Overseeing the smooth integration of New Category and E-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless launch.
  • Providing strategic direction for integrating technology into business processes, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Fostering a positive attitude towards change among team members, guiding them through transitions in technology and analytics.
  • Encouraging adaptability and proactive learning within the team.
  • Utilizing your expertise in data analytics to derive actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of data management systems, inspiring the team to leverage technological advancements effectively.
  • Staying updated with emerging technologies relevant to the field of data analytics.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively utilizing data analytics to derive actionable business insights.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of various data management systems, enabling efficient data handling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies pertinent to FMCG and analytics domains.
  • Prior experience in successfully implementing technology solutions to address business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience or knowledge in marketing strategies and distribution channels within the FMCG industry
