SENIORITY LEVEL: Management reporting to Head of EU Regulatory Strategy

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The EU Affairs Manager supports the Head of Regulatory Strategy in driving & implementing EU regulatory engagement strategies on specific legislative files. This includes strategic planning, impact assessment and scenario mapping to deliver preferred outcomes and ensure business readiness. As an EU Affairs Manager, you also support the Head of Regulatory Strategy in driving EU Office media strategy and developing a relevant network in EU Brussels to support EU Office engagement objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Develop and update fit-for-purpose dashboards and presentation assets for internal reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Drive EU Office supplier management.
• Drive EU Office compliance programme.
• Support the delivery of the EUO Plan-on-the-Page by driving specific workstreams and projects; incl. but not limited to representation in horizontal associations (Business Europe, AmCham EU), engagement with relevant institutions.
• Drive organisation & preparation of relevant fora aimed at updating internal audiences.
• Supervise EU Office Personal Assistant (part-time).
• Support Head of EU Office on budget management.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• University degree or Higher Education longer type.
• 2-3 years in a relevant role, FMCG experience is a bonus.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

SOFT SKILLS

• Stress-resistant and adaptable to changing decisions driven by a dynamic industry.
• Can work independently.
• People management / Leadership skills.
