FUNCTION:Operations – Procurement
SALARY RANGE: Competitive market salary + Bonus scheme + Excellent benefits
LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role will be accountable for the development and execution of sourcing plans for all direct spend categories and Logistics (warehouse, transportation) across functions in locally/ regionally/ globally. To ensure compliance of all procurement activities adhere with global policies, standards, and platforms to deliver robust terms and conditions that lead BAT’s service delivery and commercial risk.

- Reporting Level: Leads Self & Others (1 Direct Report)
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Deliver the Co-Plan Savings Target to achieve Direct Savings and contribute to the Cost Reduction Program in accordance with agreed savings targets and payment term extension
- Ensuring and driving sustainability policy and corporate social responsibility program (Ecovadis / Intertek)
- Support Portfolio, Marketing activities, NPI projects and continue to deliver the WMS localization journey/ Spec harmonization
- Support compliance to Sanctions, Risk Assessment, SOBC / SoX Compliance to ensure the “Deliver with Integrity” agenda is achieved in line with a step change in controls & compliance
- Conduct Supplier Performance Review for key suppliers and lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with effective WMS Contingency Plan / Contract Management
- Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the region, where required, and input into supplier business reviews
- Facilitate negotiations for local suppliers within scope to ensure business continuity supply including contracts renewal is in place
- Successful adoption of suppliers to the e-auction platform & Business analysis e.g., procurement positioning and spend analysis
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in: Economy, Business, Supply Chain or similar
- Demonstrated ability in Procurement or other related experience with at least 5 years' of working experience
- High level of Commercial Awareness and Project Management
- Strong business insight and interpersonal & communication skills
- A focus on service delivery and savings along with the ability to drive innovation and change
- Knowledge of procurement processes, methods, and techniques, including advanced negotiation& influencing skills
- Ability to perform in cross-functional, global, business environment and balance multiple tasks successfully
- Detailed knowledge of supply market, supplier capabilities, competitor activity, and expected trends at a geographic
- Familiar with e-auction
- Experience in both Direct and Indirect Procurement is an added advantage
