ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of data scientists, data engineers and BI engineers to create and enhance D&A products for the DRBU (Direct Reporting Business Units). The Data & Analytics Manager is a key pilar of the digital transformation across the organization. The Data & Analytics Manager is reporting directly to the DRBU Head of Data & Analytics.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Accountable for all data & analytics related activities within the Business Units, acting as a point of contact for both DRBU top team and global D&A teams
- Act as evangelist for data & analytic ensuring senior business understanding and buy in for the insights & foresights and how it can directly contribute to DRBU P&L and business objectives
- Ownership of D&A products for the DRBU, responsible of the product design, development, release, and life cycle management
- Bridging the business objectives of the company with the latest data & analytics capabilities
- Lead the landing of data strategy, ensuring DRBU data governance & standards are in place for all data
- Drive adoption and usage of the D&A tools
- Track and manage investment & benefits realization through analytics at a DRBU level, (e.g. business value, solution spend, etc.)
- Working with DRBU data consumers e.g. citizen data analyst, activation:
- Create, maintain and spearhead DRBU D&A roadmap with stakeholders (e.g. Activation team, SPI, Trade team)
- Build, maintain & prioritize backlog of use cases and data activities.
- Resolve impediments in delivery of roadmap by working closely with D&A hub, RSU and solution delivery team.
- Set, measure and report on D&A KPIs.
- Assist DRBU citizen data analyst to deliver insights to the business either directly or with assistance with DBS & D&A team.
- Working with Data & Analytics hub team:
- Coordinate, manage & prioritise DRBU demand for analytics solutions
- Align on delivery approach working together to deliver analytics products & solutions
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to interpret the business D&A and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions
- Understand the background, issues and implications of company and functional strategic imperatives
- Business-facing D&A experience in a global environment with special focus in Trade Marketing & Distribution and Route to Market
- Ability to land Marketing solutions underpinned by D&A Technology and Innovation
- Practical experience in BI (Power BI), Data & Analytics including data modelling (Python or R), data lake, translating data into usable value-added information.
- Experience working with: Power BI, Python (or R), SQL, Snowflake
- Managing a D&A team for over 2 years
- At least 4 years of experience in developing and leading Data & Analytics/BI systems with programming languages and technologies like Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, R, SQL,Tableau, Power BI
- Language: English – fluent, Japanese, Korean or Chinese is a plus
